Question Google Sync 2-way Outlook Calendar AND Contacts

    G'day all,

Google pulled the plug on Google Sync on 1/8/14.

I can now no longer sync my Outlook calendars and contacts with Google's calendar and contacts... between my Android phone and XP computer and Win7 laptop

Can anyone please suggest a reliable effective replacement that does more than just sync the calendar between the two giants?

I did search here first and while I can find many threads on sync between MS/Google, none seem to deal with syncing "contacts" as well?

Thanks in anticipation for the help!

See gSyncit. NOTE: there are some restrictions for the free version:

    TRY BEFORE YOU BUY

You can use the unregistered version _before_ you purchase a license. The unregistered version is limited to synchronizing one Google and Outlook calendar, synchronizing 50 contacts/note/tasks entries and does not sync deletes for contacts/notes/tasks entries. Registration will remove these limitations and remove any registration/nag dialogs from the application.

After some research I opted for Companion Link.
It works beautifully and the support is also very good - I had a longstanding Outlook issue which they successfully helped me to resolve.
