    Hotfix for Internet Explorer KB2991509

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2991509

After you apply the MS14-037 or MS14-051 cumulative security update for Internet Explorer, web applications that implement consecutive modal dialog boxes may cause Internet Explorer to become slow and unresponsive over time. This issue occurs in Internet Explorer versions 7 through 11.

A Hotfix is not part of the normal MS Update routine.

If haven't had any slowness/unresponsiveness in IE 7-11 that began sometime in the last 5 weeks, then you haven't needed to seek out and install such a fix.

For anyone who has had these difficulties starting within the last 5 weeks, the Hotfix might be useful.
