Unable to Connect Micro SD in My Laptop

Hello! Recently, I bought Kingston micro sd and connect it to my windows 8 laptop. However, there was no notification show that micro sd is connected in my laptop. I checked it many times if it was properly insert in my laptop and it was. What should I do to read that by my laptop?

    A few things to try...

1 Attach Micro SD card to laptop card port, then open up Windows explorer and check for it's presence.
(Open Windows Explorer: hit the Windows logo key on your keyboard while at the same time, the letter e)
2 Open Device Manager in Windows 8/8.1 while the Micro SD card is attached and note weather an "unknown Device" is present.
(Be sure to select "view hidden devices")
If this is so, then you may need a functional device driver for it.
3 Verify that the card works on another computer or device.
(This should probably be your first option instead of 3rd)
    DRIVE IMAGING
Invest a little time and energy in a well thought out BACKUP regimen and you will have minimal down time, and headache.

Build your own system; get everything you want and nothing you don't.
