    Undelete.

    Hello.
Has anybody here ever used any form of "Undelete" ? I ask because a friend of mine that I tutor, has lost all her .jpgs. She lets all and anybody to use her machine and this was a result of some action from one of them.
I used Teamviewer from 350 miles away and sure enough, the pertinent folder is empty. Is there a list of tricks to use if one uses Undelete. Of course, I would do a clone before I attempt any funny manoeuver.
    Thanks for any help. Jean.

There's some freebies in this article you could try but it really depends upon how much the computer has been used since, as the space they once occupied could have been overwritten http://lifehacker.com/393084/how-to-...-free-software

I take it you have checked the Recycle Bin ?

Thanks Sudo. This project is 5 weeks away but I am gathering ammunitions. I might have success yet on these deleted .jpgs. This person is a little bid "dense" in regards to using her system, I am the knight in shining armour. Have a great day.

The bin was verified first thing. How come they are not there ? Jean.

Yes, Jerry, of course I have looked all over the machine, there is one .jpg in the whole machine and it is not where the rest are supposed to have been. Strange indeed. Looks like undelete might be the only option, I was interested in its use. Jean.

Thanks, Hank, I am listing these along others suggested here. As I mentioned before, I am blazing trails still, I will not be in front of the machine for another 6 weeks. Be good. Jean
