Outlook 365 on computer but not on tablet

I bought a sub for Office 365 a few months back and installed it on my desktop. The sub runs out in October 2015. I noticed a few weeks ago that I can also install in on my tablet as well as my desktop. I bought a Windows 8 tablet recently which has Office on it, but in that package it did not have Outlook. The Office 365 on my desktop does. So, I am wondering how I can get Office 365 with Outlook installed on my Windows 8 Tablet? I've been to Microsoft and find a lot of information, but not my specific request or problem. So, I thought I'd come over here to WS and see if someone could help me.

You didn't indicate which Windows tablet you have but assuming it's running Windows RT see:

What Office version is installed on the tablet? You should check that first: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...101873769.aspx

It is Office 2013 which contains Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel. What I have on my desktop contains those programs plus Outlook and Publisher 2013.

Did you check to see if Outlook is included? Is there no icon for it in the list of Office apps?

There's has always been several 'suites' of Microsoft Office and the less-cost versions tend to leave out Outlook, Access and Publisher just to mention a few. Office 365 has a Personal and a Home version and both include Outlook.

Maybe a Custom install was done and some things left out?

Thanks. I'll keep playing with the Tablet (it's new). I found out I can use Windows Mail, so that is a big help.

In the control panel, what version is stated as being installed?

With Office 365, you always get all the apps, as far as I can tell. What happens if you open Programs and Features in the Control Panel, click your office version and choose Change?
