File history - how to start again

I had File History running using an external Samsung 500gb drive. I have since replaced that drive with a Seagate 2TB one. But I cannot find a way of cancelling the whole process and starting afresh.

Every time I turn on File History I get the message that it cannot find the Samsung drive and starts to save copies of my files to my internal hard drive. That's despite my Seagate drive being connected and running. So I stop the process, turning off File History. What's the point in saving to the internal drive if a catastrophe happens?

So can anyone help me on how to reconfigure File History so that it begins anew on my new external drive? I don't mind waiting, letting it run through re-saving all my files again.

Delete the hidden File History folder apparently: File History - Reset to Default in Windows 8 (See the few simple steps under the manual "OPTION THREE").
