    Post Windows Update: KB 2993651: 2008 R2 64bit: Exchange Server 2010: DOWN!

    I have the following Servers:

    • 13 - Windows 2008 R2 64bit Servers with Hyper-V Servers running with in them. There are two ADS Servers with DHCP, & DNS, Exchange Server, Web Server, Multiple SQL Servers, Multiple Application Servers, File Servers.
    • One of my Hyper-V has been running Windows 2008 R2 64bit and Exchange Server 2010 for several years with out any issues until 08-28-14 at 3:00 AM when the update KB2993651 was installed.

    PROBLEM:
Now my entire Exchange Server Services is NOT operational. It began at the completion of the KB2993651 update. I notice the issue on 09-01-14.

    ATTEMPTS TO SOLVE:
I have rebooted the all servers in the domain (ADS-01, ADS-02, EXCH-02, WEB-01, and other supporting Files and Application Servers with NO change to the Exchange Server.

    NOTE:
Anyone have any suggestions? Exchange Server is one of my weakest products that I support.

    ADDITIONAL ISSUES:
Also a not that one of my Windows 7 PC's has lost connections to the network too. Others Windows 7 PC's have access to all servers.

I've removed the user email address & phone number from post #1. It is a very bad idea to post your actual email address & phone number in a public forum.

Have you tried a "last known good" boot?
