    Is it possible to set the default font size of wordpad

    You can change the colour:

    not sure about font size, but might be worth trying.

    Hi Mario:
    Here's what I did. Opened Wordpad, changed the font size to what I wanted, & saved it as Wordpad.wri. I made the file "read only" by right clicking & choosing properties & ticking the box. Now you can open a blank Wordpad document from the icon with your default font, and when you save it, you must give it a new name.

    I also made a copy of the document & put it in C:WindowsShellNew. It will now appear on the right click context menu. Wherever you want the icon to appear (start menu, desktop, etc.), just place copies of the icon & you will be able to open Wordpad in the font that you want. If you wanted to, you could change the extension to .rtf, but then you must associate .rtf with Wordpad. Word will reassociate itself with .rtf everytime you run repair.
