OLE Server Error Message (Access 2000)

The following message is displayed everytime I exit out of a specific form in my Access 2000 database:
"A problem occurred while Purchase Order Program - Ver 1.4 was communicating with the OLE Server."
I do not understand what this means! What is the OLE Server?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Re: OLE Server Error Message (Access 2000)

It can be any of a number of things. Usually, it's another application that you're controlling through code, such as when you automate Word from Access. In that case, Word is the OLE Server. It can also occur if you have a third party control on your form and something went wrong. Without more detail, it's impossible to answer your question definitively.
