    msconfig lacks a startup tab?

    Hello everyone:

First, let me apologize for asking a question about an OS I am not even running yet. I have an acquiantance that is trying to deselect items from running as startup items in XP. I pointed him to msconfig, but he tells me there is no "startup" tab that leads you to the list of programs you can check or de-check as there is in W2K and W98 versions. Is this right?

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.extremetech.com/article/0,3396,apn=7&s=1027&a=19543&app=5&ap=6,00.asp>MSCO NFIG</A> does have a startup tab, however, many of the processes created at startup are services, not applications.
