    Ellipsis 7 Tablet No Service

My wife's "new" tablet can see WiFi networks when she is out and about. But the tablet cannot see our home WiFi.

I have a Sonicwall TZ100 and my laptop and HD TV uses the WiFi but when we turn on the Tablet, it doesn't even come up as a network. In otherwords, the Tablet doesn't even see the WiFi.

    My radio settings are:
    Radio Mode: 2.4Ghz 802.11 n/g/b mixed
    Radio Band: Auto
    Prim Chan: Auto
    Second Chan: auto

Any suggestions on why the tablet cannot see the network? Any help get me back in good favors with my wife. Thanks

Have you forced it to scan for networks?

Does it see other local networks?

Do you have a limit on the number of wireless connections in the router?

It does see other networks protected and unprotected when she is out and about.

Not sure where to look for this. What is the official verbiage I should look for in the Dash Board?

Time to check tablet settings. You may want to install (assuming Android) WiFi Analyzer to see if it CAN see the network.

Just because you don't know where you are going doesn't mean any road will get you there.

For some reason I had the "Hide SSID in Beacon" checked. Once unchecked, the Tablet now see's the network.

    Thanks everyone for the help...
