    Recent items to taskbar

Is it possible to have a workaround to place Recent Items to taskbar? My list is not dynamic and I wuld prefer to have it there rather than via Start.I tried creating a folder and moving those documents to it, but that didn't work.

    Thank you

If you Pin Word and/or Excel to the task bar, right clicking it on the task bar will bring up a most recently used documents list.

Glad to have helped. These items are called Jump Lists. You can control the maximum number of items displayed in Jump Lists by
Right clicking on a blank area of the task bar,
    Click on Properties
Click on the Start Menu tab
    Click on the Customize button
and adjust "Number of Recent Items to display in Jump Lists"

Great Scott, Jerry. No matter how much snooping around that I do, you keep leading me to more hidden tricks. Thanks. Jean.
