    Question: W8 - NTFS file system - "system" files - Permissions

    Generally speaking, what file Permissions (should be set; or are set, when a file is created) for "system" files when using the NTFileSystem and W8 ??

    On my W8 box everyone gets read only except "TrustedInstaller" which has full access.

    thank you, however I am looking specifically for *file permissions set for the security principal "System".

    I looked and found that my install of W8Pro set permissions for the Windows\; System folder, the System32 folder, and the SysWOW64 folder, as shown in your attached image file above.
