    When fireworks go up in the air and explode, they’re supposed to do that spectacularly. When a washing machine runs, it’s supposed to do so quietly and competently for 30 or so years. No messes. The machine in this video has been given a fireworks’ mission. But despite extreme duress, it behaves as if it’s hanging on to its real mission — for such a surprisingly long time that it compels respect even from the mischievous video maker.
