    All I wanna do...

is get my Epson Workforce printer "attached" to the XP machine I have as a MS Virtual PC machine.

The XP machine works fine, and the printer works on the host. But I cannot get the connection right so that the VM sees the printer.

It's showing on the "host" as being connected to port EPBA9920:WORKFORCE 845.

    ???

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

I don't now about MS virtual machines but check into the USB functions in it. It may need to be enabled in the settings.

The Workforce works great as a network printer, so connect it to your LAN instead of USB. Then the VM can see it on the network, just like any ordinary network-connected computer. Another advantage is any other device--laptops, tablets, phones--can also have access to the printer, as well.
