Woody's new book on Windows XP

    Once again the grand-master-word-mechanic of the high tech world has put it all together in his "Windows XP All-in-one Desk Reference." (get it from Amazon.com) . Buy this book, then spend more time down at the bottom of this board swapping puns with Leif, Geoff, et al. <img src=/S/read.gif border=0 alt=read width=19 height=33> <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15> <img src=/S/clever.gif border=0 alt=clever width=15 height=15> <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> <img src=/S/clapping.gif border=0 alt=clapping width=19 height=23>

Re: Woody's new book on Windows XP - Oh dear

I just received "Windows XP All-in-one Desk Reference" and am returning it. It's full title is "Windows XP All-in-one Desk Reference FOR DUMMIES." I hadn't realized it was part of this excellent series, as that means it will not get very technical. E.g., there's one-half page on Remote DEsktop, and a whole chapter on AOL.

The book will no doubt be useful to many, but is not what I thought it would be. Is there another Woody XP book? A bit more hefty?
