    Outlook 2013 won't start up

What's going on when Outlook 2013 won't start up. When clicking the icon on the desktop or in the Start menu, the blue box showing Outlook pops up and then disappears? In checking the Task Mgr it is not running. Should I reload the Office suite again over the top or is there probably something easier? Thanks so much, I'm in a bind!

Try starting in safe mode: http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner...-in-safe-mode/

You can also check in Task Manager for any "zombie" instances and kill them before trying to start it again.

Another option if this persists is to go to Control Panel | Program & Features and select Microsoft Office XXXXXXXX; then select 'Change' and run a repair.

ruirb: Thanks for your suggestion but it didn't work...think it has to do with profile marrying to registry?? Then again, if I knew why am I asking.

Can you check the Event Viewer for something in Windows Logs -> Application to see if there are errors related to Outlook?
