How to chose a date? is there alternative to Date Picker?

Date Picker allows me to select and display dates.
But this is not convenient when a date of birth needs to be entered. Many clicks are required!

Is there a way to add fast selection of years?

If not, I can add 3 fields of years, months and boxes.
Are there such pre-defined drop down boxes?

The date picker is the best built-in solution I know of. I also don't know of any pre-defined dropdown boxes for entering dates via 3 fields.

In an earlier thread I posted a link to Greg Maxey's website. He appears to lead the way in Content Control manipulation and what is possible with code. You should look over his website to see what information you can gain there.

you could, of course, use a text content control and let the user type in the date. It's easy-enough to use an exit macro to reformat the date - and even to change it to a date picker after the date has been input.

Thanks, I agree and I already did that. This is easy.
