Using computer photos for Hotmail and Lumina 520 contacts list

I am not very good with cell phones and computers. Just trying to find out if I can use my Picasa3 thumbnail photos for my Hotmail and Lumina 520 contact lists.

Assigning photos to contacts needs to be done on the phone, as far as I can tell. This means the photos you want to assign need to be accessible on your phone, which means they need to be stored either on the phone or OneDrive or Facebook. Likely, to use Picasa photos, you need to download them and then copy them to your phone. Once there, you can edit each contact and assign the contact a picture, that you can choose from the ones on the phone.

It may be easier to download the pictures you want from Picasa and upload them to OneDrive. You can then simply edit each contact, tap on photo, swipe to get to albums and choose OneDrive. You can then pick the photos you want.

In either case, once you assign the photos to your contacts, you can remove them from wherever you left them (phone or onedrive).
