Explorer.exe problem - "Application not found"

I have Windows 7 Home Edition.

When I go to the Start Button (Orb), if I left click on any of the following listed choices, I get this in a dialog box: Explorer.exe - "Application not found"

The start menu choices that have this problem are

My name (also known as My Personal Folder)
    Documents
    Pictures
    Music
    Games
    Network
    Control Panel
    Devices and Printers

    and

All shortcut links on the desktop that go to folders that used to open with a double left click, until now!

    Does anyone have any ideas?

Try Windows Repair (All In One).

I have used "Windows Repair" on many customers' sick computers during the past 2 or 3 years with very good results.
