    Auto Macro (Word 97)

    Hi

    In a previous version of word I was using there was a auto macro which could be used inconjuction with a document which contained fields, so that when you opened the document, dialogue boxes would come up to enter the data in the fields.

    Does anyone know if it is still around and where I could get instructions on how to set the document up

    Thanks in anticipation
    Dax

    The document probably uses ASK fields to collect information from the user and REF fields to display it. Assuming you have such a document, if you open it, select all, and hit F9, does it behave in the way you way? If so, the macro probably would be AutoOpen and the code would be:

    Sub AutoOpen()
    ActiveDocument.Fields.Update
    End Sub

    Could be an AutoOpen macro starting Userforms.
