EMET 5.1 seems to eliminate EMET 5.0 issues

I was one of the folks who installed EMET 5.0 on WIN 7 after Susan Bradley's suggestion that it improved security. I also was one who had issues with IE11 after the install and reverted back to EMET 4.1. I installed EMET 5.1 a few days ago the IE11 issues are fixed. Also have not noticed any new issues with my system so it appears everything is OK.

I had to modify several apps to get EMET 5.0 and below to run without errors. With EMET 5.1, everything runs with the default settings.

Me, I'm having problems installing EMET 5.1 with this message: "Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Cu rrentVersion\ShareDLLs. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel." I'm running as Admin on Win7 Pro 64-bit. Alas I had EMET 5.0 installed along with the problematic patch which broke Internet Explorer 11. Any suggestions anyone? :-)
