    w7 disconnects

    Ihave w7 and w8.1 installed on my PC
    w8 works OK
    W7 disconnects from the net some time imediatly, some time after a short time
    Some times disabling and enabling the nic help for some time, some time not
    It means I cant use the w7
    Reinstalled driver
    Need help!

    A usual one for this sort of problem is the Power Management on the adapter you are using.

    Go into Device Manager and expand Network adapters then right click on whichever of adapter you are using then select Properties and under the Power Management tab, uncheck the box to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

    You could also select Uninstall (without checking the box to include software) and then reboot where Windows will reinstall it, but you would then have to go back in and uncheck the Power Management box.

    Forgot to add that if you have uninstalled the Wireless adapter, on the reboot you will have to click on the WiFi icon in the Taskbar and click on your SSID to Connect and re-enter the security key.
