FF 33.1.1 broke Greasemonkey or NPFL script

    Hey Y'all,

I use Jefferson's NPFL GreaseMonkey script to read my WLS. Today, I got upgraded to FF 33.1.1 and NPFL no longer works. I've deleted the script & greasemonkey and reloaded both w/o any change. Is anyone else having the problem?

If viewers are like me they don't know what NPFL and WLS means, may not have time to do a Search to find out.

    Berton,

Right you are! NPFL (New Posts Forum List) is a GreaseMonkey script that displays only the Forums you choose and highlights those with new posts in Yellow or Green if you were the last poster. WSL, Windows Secrets Lounge.

    Interesting, Very Interesting!

Well, after much effort NPFL is working with FF 33.1.1.

If you're interested here's what I went through.
    1. Uninstalled & ReInstalled NPFL - No change!
    2. Uninstalled & Reinstalled GreaseMonkey & NPFL - No Change
    3. Uninstalled FF 33.1.1 and Installed 32.03 restored setup using MozBackup - No change.
    4. Switched to my laptop, disconnected from internet, set FF not to update, reconnected to internet - works just fine on FF 33.0.
    5. Switched to other OS boot on laptop, opened FF on 33.1 - Works fine!
    6. Allowed to update to FF 33.1.1 - Works fine.
    7. Back to Desktop restored Macrium Image of C: from 7 days ago, disconnected from internet, set FF to not update, reconnected to internet - Works fine on FF 33.1
    8. Manually update to FF 33.1.1 - Works OK! ... Go Figure.

Something was busted but I don't know what but I did notice that my Noia Fox 3.06 wasn't working either. Not everyting is working as it should. I've turned off FF automatic updating and will test updating on the Laptop before doing it on the Desktop.

RetiredGeek, based on your postings, which are worth their weight in gold, when I get home, I'm downloading Greasemonkey, JS's NPFL script -- hopefully I can get working without much trouble. I'm using FF 34.0.5 Beta at home. GChrome, when available, when not at home.
