    'RD' field insert doesn't work

    Hello

    I have to create table of contents for three different WORD documents. Mentioned documents contain appropriate sections and i really don't understand why i cannot create table of contents using this functionality.

    I've tried multiple configurations:
    1. Inserting using 'Insert-Quick Parts- Field' path
    - I've typed "RD "Cz1.docx"" into 'Field codes' field
    - Also "RD Cz.docx"
    - RD C:\Users\Kuba\Cz1.docx
    - RD "C:\Users\Kuba\Cz1.docx"
    2. Inserting directly under {TOC}
    - { RD "Cz1.docx" \f }
    - { RD C:\\Users\\Kuba\\Cz1.docx }

    Application doesn't recognize any of these commands

    Nothing works. I think i could missed something obvious here.

    The RD field requires you to use a fully-qualified path. You should also use paired back-slashes for the path separators.

    It seems unlikely you'd have any documents in 'C:\Users\Kuba' - more likely in 'C:\Users\Kuba\Documents'. Check the path details in Windows Explorer. Assuming the reference document is in 'C:\Users\Kuba\Documents', the field code should look like:
    { RD "C:\\Users\\Kuba\\Documents\\Cz1.docx" }
    and must be placed after a TOC field.

    Thanks for your help, now it works properly
