    Combining Folder view, Inbox, Calendar and Tasks i (Outlook 2002 SP1)

    What I would like to be able to do is have the Calendar and Tasks appear on the screen while I'm in my in box. Is this possible? I've search through a few places and books and haven't seen any mention of combining these functions into one screen.

    I know about Outlook Today, but I want to see my e-mail, not the number of new mail.

    Thanks

    you could use the view control and create a folder home page with all three showing. see the outlook today page at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.digidashlive.net>http://www.digidashlive.net</A>

    Thanks much. I knew I saw what I wanted to do, just couldn't remember where. Thought I might have been dreaming.

    Could you please provide step by step instructions on how you did this? I would love to recreate something similar.
    Thanks.

    I didn't do it... <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15> however, it's just a web page with the view control and html code. if you have frontpage or another HTML editor, download the page and open it in your editor.If you don't have an editor, look at it in notepad.

    Near the bottom of the source there are two object tags:
    <OBJECT classid=CLSID:0006F063-0000-0000-C000-000000000046 id=ViewCtlFolder width="509" height="240">
    <param name="Folder" value="Inbox">
    <param name="Namespace" value="MAPI">
    <param name="Restriction" value><param name="DeferUpdate" value="0"></OBJECT>

    change the folder name value to match the fodler you want to display and you're all set. To make it easier to find names of nested folders, look in the address bar above the folders (OL2002) or look in the Web toolbar for other versions. (view | toolbar)

    <img src=/S/cool.gif border=0 alt=cool width=15 height=15> That worked great! I modified it a little and everyone loved it.
    Thanks for the link.
    Cheers.
