Windows Live Photo Gallery wanted for XP

    Hi There,

I accidently deleted the older version of Windows live photo gallery like the one that came with XP. It was easy to use and did everything that I wanted with regard to editing my photos. I can't get on with the latest version of photo gallery; it's too complicated. My computer is running Windows 7 pro.

Can anyone please tell me how I can find and download the older version.

It was never included with XP; it's a free download from Microsoft, and it's part of the Windows Live Essentials package. Get it here, scroll down and choose your language.

Brilliant; thanks for all your help. I've now downloaded the 2009 version and am able to edit photos as before.

If you, or anyone, wants a very small and FAST program to edit photos, one that I've found very usefull is "Photo Filtre" (yes, it's French).
    And....... it's FREE!

I've found I can do everything with it that I would do with Photo Shop, without the expense.
I won't set up a PC without it. And, yes, it works fine with Windows 8.1, and all previous OS's.

    Cheers Mates and Happy Holidays!
