Show e-mail address with display name (2000)

Messages I send show my full e-mail address after my name.
How can I show the recipient's address after the display name? Not only can I not find this as an option, I can't even find a field I can use to modify the form.
    Any ideas?
The fact that no-one has replied to my post may have something to do with its stupidity or, hopefully, lack of detail.
I am using the C/W version of Outlook on a single desktop.
Curiously, when I type in the display name and the "Check Names" function does its thing I have the problem of not being able to see the recipient's address, but NOT when I drag the contact to the Inbox - that gives me what I want, but it's not the way I wanted to get it.
    Does this prompt any reaction?

I use Outlook 2000 and have come to accept this "feature" as being built in. Some of my sender's addresses show if their e-mail client shows it. I have also noticed after much searching/experimenting that you can view the headers of the message from a right-click in the in-box view and select the options at the bottom of the fly-out menu. I'd rather see them more plainly.

I don't think there's an automatic setting for this. If your contacts are in an address book, you could go into each one and modify the display name to whatever you want. What a drag! To do this, open the contact, right click on the email address and choose properties. If your contacts are in the GAL you'd have to get the recipient's display changed there.
