    Dump memory files

While listening to a radio program on my Vista Home(64),suddenly I hear crackling noise, blank screen shows,on the bottom:Beginning to dump physical memory files and a count down.I shut the computer off immediately and re-started again. It seems to work as before, but I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED,WHY,AND WHAT TO DO (if anything)ABOUT IT.My computer is always up to date, have Secunia also, and Malwarebytes(pro),Anti exploit(free),Avast(free),all MS updates done when appear. Please advise what to do.Thank you!

Might have been caused by a power surge (AKA spike) in your mains power supply.
