    software restriction policy

    trying to open superantispyware. Worked fine until last night. Now getting message that program cannot open due to software restriction policy.

    I happened after I was using IE tools to clean out my history, temp files, cookies, etc.

    Could be the cookies and etc. items held information about the program and that is now gone. Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting then install again?

    If he used a registry cleaner also, it is possible he deleted something Superantispyware was counting on. The idea to uninstall and reinstall is a good idea; let's hope everything works out smoothly.

    Try a System Restore to a date when SAS was working.
