    Etd

Can I safely disable ( ETD control center ( 3 ) ELAN Microelectronics ) In task manager startup safely? I have no clue about this. Just what little I was able to find out about this which wasn't much at all. I don't know if this is correct. Thay say this is for the touch pad. I never use the touch pad, I use a mouse. Thanks Chuck

yes you can disable only, don't remove the driver, touchpad can be backup, in case mouse dies.

Disable it in Device Manager. Control Panel > System > Device Manger.
