The WS Security Baseline New Year's edition

    By Susan Bradley

Looking back a 2014, it was a bad year for botched patches, major corporate breaches, and new forms of cyber-attacks.

Kingsoft Office 2013 is perfectly adequate, and has no known security reasons to stop using it. However, Kingsoft is moving toward a new version of their suite, and they are renaming it. The 2014 suite is named WPS Office, but it is by the same company and continues the same development path ( info ) ( download ) . Also available as a Mobile App for iOS and Android, with a Linux Alpha under development.
