    Outlook 2010 Professional Plus Error 1402

    having issues with Outlook, when I start up it goes to installer then I get the following message: "Error 1402. Setup cannot open the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_OBJECT_CACHIN G"
    Other Office suites Excel etc don't work as well.
    I don't have the original installation disc but when I click on the popup box it starts to uninstall and then comes up with popup "Fatal error during installation"
    Does someone have a fix for this please? Any help appreciated but need to know I'm not really that tech savvy.

    I don't have the original installation disc
    Unfortunately you'll need the disc and possibly the Product Key to either do a Repair or re-install Office.
