Thanks Paul, you and all have helped me a lot. The problem I had, was finding a way to let other,s know my computer skills aren't great at all. I was told, I didn't have to say every time, ( my computer skills aren't good ) . I totally disagree with that, Paul, you and few others understand that. Theres others that don't no what your skill levels are. You have to let these people no some way. I guess theres not a good way to do that. I just think this is best. I Thank everyone for the help, Thanks Chuck

@ Chuckcracker: Just because a few on here and other forums as well, treat members in a way that makes a member feel uncomfortable should report those actions. I'm with Paul T, don't go just because of a few bad apples....we're all not like that.

I just write the questions as best I can and let others work out how much I know. If they get it wrong it's no bother, someone will pop in with an answer that works for me.

    cheers, Paul

Yep...it's the way I do it. Some one will eventually work out what's trying to be said and get to the root of the problem.

Chuck, I apologise if I managed to upset you with my PM - I was only trying to encourage you as your skills are way above average. Some of your questions have been very technical. As Pal T and Bassfisher have said, no question is too simple and as long as none of us mind others asking further questions to clarify things, we can all benefit.

So don't go please, especially on my account.

Chuck, I could do that, but I won't. I don't think any of the other moderators or administrators will, either. Nor do I think anyone wants you to go. One of the things about the Lounge that you need to keep in mind is that for every member that is online, there are probably 100 guests.

At the moment, there are 2072 users online, 23 members and 2049 guests, somewhere amongst all the forums and threads. Those numbers change minute by minute, but the point is that lots of folks come here looking for information about Windows, problems with Windows and their solutions, without ever registering. The Lounge is quite popular. Google a problem with Windows, and in the results you'll probably find some links to Windows Secrets Lounge forums.

I don't think anyone has a problem with you (or anyone else, for that matter) asking questions, wanting to learn more about your PC and Windows. That's what everyone is here for, when you get right down to it. I encourage you to stay, and keep asking questions about those things that you want to understand better.

Your questions (all our questions, as well), and the answers that are offered, add to the knowledge base that is the Windows Secrets Lounge.
