Keep your eye open for 16.0.0.296 which isn't available at www.adobe.com yet.

It looks like 16.0.0.296 is only available for the ActiveX version so far, with 16.0.0.287 for other Windows browsers.

Since Flash is now handled internally for Win8.1, I don't have an option to update it for IE11.

I don't have Flash Player to auto update, but it's still showing for .287 at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=KLXMF

I use Win 7 and IE 10 so the direct download link will not apply to me - I'll see what happens when I change it to auto update.

Update - No, it's still showing as .287 for my ActiveX and at the verify site when I clicked on Check Now.

Notice that too Sudo15, but, if you install it then check the about Flash in Control panel, it will be 296. My guess is that it was such an emergency that they forgot to update the naming in the website interface. lolol

Hope Win8.1 updates soon if not already by stealth means.

I've just been to http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/fla...ribution3.html and downloaded both and confirmed appwiz.cpl is showing .296 for both.
