    Corrupted AVI. files

Somehow I have some video clips that have been corrupted. They were fine when I loaded them into my computer but now they look like the old fashioned snow on TV screens and the audio is just static. I also have clips that look fine but then they start pixelating and get snowy. Can this be caused by my office being too hot or the power going on and off? Once the clip is like this, can it be repaired?

Install the KLite Codec Pack full. This will provide the codecs you need to play AVI files.

Always check for bundled unwanted extras when downloading and installing any new software and be sure to decline them. Use custom install when it’s available.
