    StickerPrint by Colorflex (WinNT 4.0)

Has anyone used or is currently using StickerPrint by ColorFlex. It has a runtime version of Access 97 and we are experiencing some strange issues trying to save data. Each database name.mdb is getting
a series of ~ ~ ~ after them each time the clerk finishes entering information and saving it. Tech support is not sure why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks

You mean ColorFlex's tech support doesn't know why? And what do you mean by a series of tildes? Can you show us an example of what you're seeing, either a screen shot or just typing in the equivalent?

    Hi,
Thank you for responding. I have attached a screen shot regarding this. According to ColorFlex, it is an error and they are supposed to get locked out of the database. Yet we can still open them up and add data. They are baffled by it. Also, when the user opens the program, and adds data to the file, those additions go into the ~ ~ ~ files not the main database. He also saves and closes the program according to the steps in the handbook provided with the application. And as you can see, the .mdb's grow incrementally with the tildes. Very strange, so any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

It looks suspiciously like they're creating a temporary database and never destroying it so the next time one is created, it grabs the last name used and adds a tilde to it. Maybe someone else will come up with some ideas if you hang in there.
