    Optional Desktop Remote updates?

    I have three optional updates pending relating to being able to have Remote Desktop capability. While I have no immediate need for this function, I might in the future. My friend uses it to do things using his smart phone. Is there any harm, or issues with me going ahead and installing these?

    Thanks all;
    Artie

    Hi Artie - No, there's no harm installing the optional Remote Desktop updates now. I've had them installed on multiple PC's for a while now with no issues. They are security updates so, in my opinion, it's probably better to install them now than risk forgetting them in the future if you DO decide to use RDC at a later date.

    Hope this helps...
