    Snipping Tool/Printing Problem

I use the Snipping Tool many times a day, usually posting the snip into a Word doc or Excel sheet. I just got a new printer and when I print the page with the snip, the snip is oversized and bleeds off the page, even though it appears to be properly sized to the document on the screen. Help, please and thank you very much.

I recommend that you paste the snip into Paint, Word, Irfanview, Adobe Reader, or some other program which can manage print jobs. Then do a print preview to see how it will print. Then print it.

If you paste it into Excel, you can set the print area, then you can shrink the size of the printout to make sure it fits on one page.

It does sound like vplamb is usually pasting the picture into Word or Excel. If you're using Word, you can right-click on the picture, select Format Picture, and then go to Size so you can ensure that the actual size is what you want, and it should print fine. "Should" being the key word!
