Put a virtual Android tablet on your PC

    By Lincoln Spector

If you'd like to try Android before you buy, or you have a Windows tablet/laplet and wish you'd bought one based on Android, you can install an emulator on your Windows desktop for virtually no cost. American Megatrends' AMIDuOS gives you a virtual Android machine you can use to road-test Android or run Android and Windows on one tablet.

I run Android-x86 -- which is free -- inside VirtualBox, as described in "4 Ways to Run Android on Your PC and Make Your Own 'Dual OS' System" at http://www.howtogeek.com/179691/4-wa...ual-os-system/, and in ''How to Install Android in VirtualBox", at http://www.howtogeek.com/164570/how-...in-virtualbox/. Works great!
