Unhappy Real Disappointment... No-shrink Start menu

Was SO longing for just 2 things:

    1. A Start menu that collapsed when the Tiles were removed

    2. A button or checkbox option, something that Tiles would be attached to the Start menu OR NOT. It is so silly & tedious having to remove them one by one. If can have Show Desktop Icons choice, should be EASY to have a Tiles OR NOT choice, too.

So severely disappointed. The bright side, can function just fine w/out opening the back forty... stupid expanse of nothing, yeeeeesh! Oh, that's dumb!!

And being able to see through the thing does not make up for it. Want a little Start menu not, not a big, transparent, waste of space... absolutely no need or sense to that, @ all!!

Had SO hoped would see this fixed in this Build. 9926 Start menu wouldn't size down, either. It's just plain ridiculous!!

    Cheers,
    Drew

    Joe,

Almost daily & to my cousin @ Redmond. Safe to say, any issues I mention in any Forums I am saying to the Build Team, as well, if not 1st.

But, always, good to remind ppl to use Feedback.

    Cheers,
