    Search query (A2k)

I need help! I've been working on this for 2 days! I have a form in which a user can enter data in 1 or more fields. I then create a SQL SELECT statement in code and assign it to a variable. I then open another form with the record source set to my variable. This second form displays all records that match my search form. My question is how do I configure my WHERE clause to include all records that match the criteria in the fields that the user entered. My problem is when I use Like "*" for the empty fields it returns no records. I've tried everything I can think of. Does anybody have any ideas?

    Thanks
