Making tabs and icons larger in Word and Excel
How can I make the whole top part of my Word and Excel Tab bar and Icon bar be larger and more distinct ?? This would only be for one specific user (myself).
I must squint to read tabs and icons at the very top of my screen.
Thanks for any help ... Theodore

You might take a look at the Ease of Access tools that are included in Vista.
You can get to those through the Control Panel.
For example, the Magnifier tool will allow you to zoom the entire screen.
Additionally, the Lens view in the Magnifier tool allows you to use a magnifying "box" that you can move around on the screen and just enlarge the area it rests on, without changing the entire screen.
That may work for the Tab and Icon bars.

Magnifier enlarges part of the screen. This is especially useful for viewing objects that are difficult to see. It's also helpful for people who generally have difficulty seeing the screen.
Open Magnifier by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking Ease of Access, and then clicking Magnifier.
Move the pointer to the part of the screen that you want to magnify.
