    Tip for Update History (Win10)

    BTW & FYI

If one views Update History via CP or via God Mode which, sources same, will show nothing.

    > Settings > Update > Advanced options > View your update history <-- it will show something

    Cheers,
    Drew

    Rick,

Look @ the bottom right corner of your screen... is it Build 10049?

    Rick,

1st of all, you can call me Drew w/out 1903, please, since it's, actually, my name not a user handle.

Ok, so, go back to Check for Updates until it offers you flb_something_professional (Build 10049) Update to 10041. In other words, try, again.

W/ the Updates you have it should go. Should be on 10049, now.

Oh, and, of course, make sure you > Advanced options & set the Builds reception on Fast track! 10049 has not been released to the Slow track.

    Cheers,
    Drew

For usernames, people quite often suffix a name with their year of birth, such as Tarquin72 or Gladys1966...

I only added something as Drew was "Not available". Obviously, it's not my birth year but, it is the 1st year of Harley-Davidson... so since I ride & had to add something for my name to be accepted... But, in practice, there is, certainly, no reason to write the numbers.

    Cheers,
    Drew

What a pity that Harley Davidson didn't start a year earlier, since you could then have chosen a name where the two halves rhymed in a type of micro-poem:
    Drew
    1902

    Major mistake by HD, IMHO...

Drew - I'm trying again. Currently on 10041 and downloading (again) fbl_impressive 10049 Professional.

PS - Yes, it's set to Fast track. (How else would it see the 10049 update?)

Yes, that's, certainly, true. Hopefully will go, this time, sounds promising, though. If it seems to have stopped, just be patient... it 'sits' @ various points for a while sometimes.

Three and a quarter hours later, it's still only 23% into the install of 10049...

Thanks Browni... but had already seen that thread and turned off all networking (wired and wireless) after the download and prior to the actual update process.

    Still at 23%...

How did you turn it off? I physically pulled the ethernet cable from my PC.
