    Re: XP, win32.sys

    Windows NT4 or XP?

How frequent is the rebooting? Is it a continuous cycle when you start up, or a random reboot when you are logged in, or.....

    Has it just started happening?

    Re: XP, win32.sys

WIN32.SYS is not a part of standard Windows installation. Sometimes viruses mask themselves as native system files. System file win32k.sys is in %windir%system32 folder and if it is damaged, you must replace it with a good copy from your dllcache folder, or repair your Windows installation (booting from your Windows installation CD). But if there's a virus in your computer, you must clean it first or reformat hard drive and reinstall all software.
