Volume Shadow Copy Service VBS script or utility wanted

nybody have a VBS script or utility that will, respectively, automatically turn on or on-demand turn on & leave on Volume Shadow Service? Battleship boot and tweaking.com Registry Backup indicated VSS off. I did the service thing, however, I wouldn't mind having a quick VBS or utility. I didn't find a REG file that would turn on/leave on VSS.

VSS is normally off until you perform a shadow copy, then it turns off again.
What are you trying to achieve?

    cheers, Paul

The Volume Shadow Copy (VSS) service is left stopped, presumably for a reason.
Programs which require VSS will start the service 'manually', use it, then stop it again.

Oh, ok! Tweaking.com's Registry Backup said VSS off, so its backup via VSS failed on 2 of 15 items. Lemmie toy with it some more...will report back if any further troubles, thanks!!
