    Word 2013 Ribbon

Ever since Office 2010 was released, I hated the concept of the ribbon which replaced dropdown menu’s. I like the ribbon now except for 1 feature – the ability to use the mouse-wheel to scroll through to the next consecutive menu.
I now use Office 2013, is it possible to configure Office (or at least Word) to disable this ‘ribbon-scrolling’ feature?

    Thanks in advance

No, but if you keep your mouse pointer off the Ribbon, it won't happen. The Ribbon has to have the focus.
