how to stop Windows asking for password on login

I have Windows 8.1 Pro. Some time back I fixed my computer so I did not have to give a password or pin when I started Windows. Now, for the past two days, it requires my password or pin each time. I clicked on Win-X and clicked on Command Prompt (Admin). I typed "control userpassword2" and hit enter. However, it did not give me the menu where I could unclick the place where it reads, "users must enter a user name and password." I've tried several times but it will not give me that menu. Is there a workaround so I can find the menu and unclick the username and password requirement? I've tried Googling but so far all I've found is the above instructions which are not working for me.
