    Lotus Notes problems

Hi everyone, I have the following issue with Lotus Notes:
When I first used lotus on my home PC, it worked fine. For no reason, I get the following messages now:
    a. Bookmark File does not exist (I then click 'ok')
    b. You cannot quit Notes because a dialog is active. Switch to notes first, close the dialog and then exit Notes. (I then click 'ok')
    c. File does not exist: mailbox.ntf (I then click 'ok')
What is it??? How to fix it?

Which version of Notes? Details about your computer, please, can be so helpful.

The files that are missing are part of the standard Notes client installation. Something or someone must have deleted them or some other aspect of the Notes client has gotten corrupted.

The only suggestion I can give is to try a repair of the Notes client via the Windows Programs and Features. If that doesn't work, uninstall and then reinstall.

The full list of the maintenance actions for corrupted database should be the following.
(The real database name should substituted instead of dbname.nsf)
    - make the backup of the dbname.nsf database
    - run one of the fixup commands
load fixup dbname.nsf -F - in you are not using transaction logging
    Or
load fixup dbname.nsf -J -F - if you are using transaction logging

    - refresh or replace database design
The aim of fixup command is to return database to the state when server may work with it. So the fixup may delete any document and a design element document too.
To restore design elements you may using
    load design dbname.nsf
If this will not help then replace design for this database manually

    - run
    load compact dbname.nsf -c -i -D -K
    This will correct database structure

    - run
    updall dbname.nsf -R
    This will rebuild views.
