Exclamation New Tab from Favorites Bar w/ Edge

For anyone who has not, already, figured it out...

Have to hit the New Tab + FIRST, then grab the site from the Favorites Bar wanted (there). Cannot hit the FB site first; that will replace whatever site, already, open; will not open to a New Tab

    Cheers,
    Drew

Although with IE there is the small arrow at then end of the Favorites entry which can be used to open it in a new tab.

Looks like Microsoft is really keeping Edge minimalistic in all respects right now.

No, it is NOT the same as IE!! IE can replace BUT, can, also, open to a new tab W/OUT having to open a new blank tab FIRST.

If it was the same what was said would not have been written.

    Joe,

Yes, but, also, they started showing us early stabs @ Edge. This 10074 is, actually, quite old. I'm hoping we'll see a real evolution of Edge in forthcoming Builds.

I am glad, though, that I figured out how to have it in Multiple Desktops as I could w/ IE.

    Cheers,
    Drew

The age of 10074 is not relevant to most people. That is the latest that most have. I take anything shown at shows with a huge grain of salt. Until something shows up in software that a large number of people can test I put no faith in "features". Even then I know that something can be removed if it proves problematic or not really useful.

I too hope Edge evolves quickly. As I said in another thread, I use RoboForm and therefore Edge will NEVER be my main browser until extensions are implemented and a RoboForm extension is available.

The 'age' of 10074 was relevant in so much that Edge has certainly gone through some changes since 10074 which, we are not seeing in the 10074 offering of Edge. So hard to say what Edge, actually, is, now. We'll soon see...

Sure it has changed. And yes, it will evolve - that is what this whole process is about. But who cares until we see them.
